I opened The Muse's Window Gallery in October 2001 and moved it to Concord in 2006. I am grateful that my store is located in Concord, for Concord is one of the few towns in the Boston area that still has a thriving mix of businesses and a truly historic feel.
We represent contemporary crafts in all media and feature work that is somewhat whimsical, offbeat and humorous in style. The gallery represents the work of over 200 artisans, including some nationally known artists and I make great effort to find work that is not sold elsewhere in the Boston area.
My store is much more than a "business" to me and to anyone who is involved with it. American artists depend on galleries like mine for their livelihood—you will not find their work in Marshall's or in Neiman Marcus. Small craft galleries around the country have an essential role to play in the continued existence of a creative, and uniquely American, subculture.
We welcome you to visit us and enjoy the rich array of creative and imaginative work that will please the sophisticated collector as well as those people who are seeking to purchase an unusual gift or object for-the-home.
